I am a re-enactor covering all different periods of history. A carpenter by trade, this has given me the chance to explore the fascinating craft of woodturning.

Week in and out I go to work in the van with my powertools. On a weekend I abandon the modern world, and set off to some interesting event with a few basic hand tools and a polelathe. I can be seen up and down the country at historical events, normally with the Vicus (an excellent group of people).

There are several sides to my craft I make authentic well researched items for reenacters, and also make interesting items of treen for the modern market as a traditional craft lover I like to share my knowledge and skill with others. So if you are looking for a roman plate, a  green turned  bowl, a Viking cup or you whant to drink your beer on an evening out of  pint mug made by a traditional craft person.
